Homebuyer Education

Are you interested in buying a home but not sure where to start? 

 

ESOP’s FREE HUD-approved homebuyer education class can teach you the important basics of the home buying process.  We will provide you with the knowledge you’ll need to secure an affordable mortgage and buy the right house for you.

 

This course includes information on:

 

  • Money management
  • Understanding credit
  • The mortgage loan process
  • Shopping for a home
  • Home insurance
  • The importance of a home inspection
  • Maintaining and sustaining homeownership

 

Homebuyer Education Classes are offered virtually! The online course includes four sessions on consecutive days. Classes are held Monday through Thursday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m..

Homebuyer education workshops are available virtually from your laptop, tablet, or smartphone.

Workshops are held four consecutive days for two hours each session, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

  • June 20, 21, 22 and 23 from 6 to 8 p.m. (English)

  • August 15, 16, 17 and 18 from 6 to 8 p.m. (Spanish)

  • August 22, 23, 24 and 25 from 6 to 8 p.m. (English)

  • September 26, 27, 28 and 29 from 6 to 8 p.m. (English)

  • October 24, 25, 26 and 27 from 6 to 8 p.m. (English)

  • November 7, 8, 9 and 10 from 6 to 8 p.m. (Spanish)

  • November 14, 15, 16 and 17 from 6 to 8 p.m. (English)

  • December - No Classes)
